These are the various greens in the Fall / Winter gardens. Some were grown from seed, some purchased from a reputable
place that sells non-GMO seedlings, and some were grown during the summer and remained in good health. All of these will
ecentually die with the deep freezes. The broccoli can take many heavy freezes. The spinach will maintain it's roots
during the winter and sprout right back up in the spring. The collard greens became very infested with whiteflies (thousands
covering the underside of the leaves) but I've gotten rid of them using a homemade organic concoction and they are back to
doing well.
Click the "zoom" link at the bottom of each to see a large picture of each. The broccoli picture shows the growth of about one week after planting with nematodes to prevent a problem with grubs.
