The first one lasted about 25 years, still ran, but decided to replace it because of some rusting of the
racks inside. The new one failed after just a couple years due to corrosion in the ribbon cable and touch panel as shown
in the pictures below.
I replaced the touch panel, reset the module which had apparently gotten into some unknown state when the ribbon cable
shorted out, and it now works fine.
